IONIA, Magnesia ad Maeandrum. Gordian III. AD 238-244. Æ (28mm, 8.47 g, 12h). Demoneikos, grammateus. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Rams walking left towards a multitiered pyre from which emerges branches. RPC VII.1 533.1-2 (A5/R1) = Shultz 448(V7/R42) = Falghera 2126; Lindgren & Kovacs A503A (same rev. die). Near VF, green patina, obverse scrapes, very minor tooling on leaves of branch.
